Wow it's already 1230. Guess we went home really late LOL. Anyway, today was really fun, with abit (actually a lot) more shopping and buying stuff 😉. Got to wear my hobo pants today HEHEHEH it's so comfortable but makes me so fat!!! But whatever comfy comfy comfy. ❤️ Stole a tank from my cousin's wardrobe too since I needed a tank to wear it with 😏😏

Went for Lor Mee at Potay (town area) and it was quite good 😋 OFC there were better lor mee but I was hungry so it's still really good!!

Straits Quay



Needed aircon really badly since the weather WAS JUST EFFIN HOT, so we went to Straits Quay to take photos and shop. Since it's near a pier/sea there's actually ALOT of boats here, im sure they're all private yatches. I AM SO JEALOUS I ALSO WANT A YATCH FOR MYSELF TOO. BUT BO LUI. Next time!!!! But right now let me just fake own them ❤️ Actually though the shops there sold really expensive stuff, there was this mini flea market on the 2nd floor and several outlet stores, so ofc I wouldn't miss them 😉 I even got a bag for real cheap from everlast. Wanted a Nike bag but I guess the Everlast one was ALOT CHEAPER and more worth it!





























Oh, and the freaking good cinnamon bread I said in my eariler post? YOU CAN GET IT HERE. It's not cheap but I heard the bakery is quite famous for their bread (duh if not what's a bakery for).

Also went Gurney Plaza to shop for a little while before going back to Old Chow Thye to slack for a while. Had Checkered Cheesecake which was oh-so-good ❤️ after not eating any cake for 2 days finally I satisfied my craving ❤️

Went for SUPER HUGE TISSUE PRATA at 1030pm for dinner, which was REALLY SPECIAL IMO. And REALLY GOOD. Can you imagine the dough for the prata is the same as the amount of dough for normal pratas??? THEM SKILLZ.









Had so much fun shopping today ☺️☺️
And also had a super retarded conversation with THONGkatsu group (do u geddit hurhur) HAHAAHHAHA. My relatives was talking about my cousin's gf and I could kinda feel that everyone was expecting me to have a bf since my cousin's the same age as me. BUT NO. I'm lovin' my single status and not gonna give it up anytime soon ok. 💁 or actually anytime. hehehehe

SIANZ tmr is the 2nd last day in Penang :((((( manz gotta have fun and ENJOY.

Another day just ended here in Penang, and today was a lot more fun ❤️ Went to Jelutong market again, and ate MY LOVE. Ok that sounds wrong but yes Chee Cheong fun! It was sold out at the kopitiam so my aunt went somewhere else to dabao for me which was even better 😋 THANKSSSS

Bought really cheap hobo pants at the market too, FINALLY MY OWN PAIR ❤️❤️ pains of being tall, there was actually this pair which I really liked, but it was too short for me 😢 OH AND COSWAY HAD REALLY CUTE-SHAPED PASTA. I HAD TO GET IT ☺️

My cousin also bought this really DARN GOOD CINNAMON BUN (idk from where) which had loads of raisins and was a lot sweeter than the other one I ate. But the thing is it's REALLY expensive, like 4.50RM per piece, compared to the other one which was only 1.50RM per piece. 😢 manz.




My Voice Cafe





HUGE BOWL NOODLES. HUGE. MAJORLY HUGE. LEGITLY HUGE. Actually, it's just the bowl. But it IS HUGE. The shop's near Queensbay Mall and it took us quite a while to get there. We had 7 people, and there weren't enough seats, so we had to wait outside in the HOT SUN ☀️

But anyway, there was a pianist inside AND THE MUSIC WAS JUST AWESOME. I really loved the music and it's just so cool having a live performance while eating 😉 But listening to her I really miss playing the piano :((( guess I'll play the piano when I go back to SG HEHE!!!

Actually Imo, the meat wasn't really good. It was really really chewy (too chewy actually) and it was really hard to break :((( I guess it's really cool cause of the bowl though. Well, it's to individual taste!! Another thing is, one bowl is REALLY HUGE. We couldn't even finish 2 bowls. So I guess youall just estimate how many bowls you wanna buy! 😉

ANOTHER NIECE

DASRIGHT, THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL. It was really cool, since my cousin-in-law went to the hospital at around 5 plus in the morning and gave birth at 2.48pm. And naturally we went to the hospital to visit both of them ❤️
THEIR BABY WAS SOOOOO CUTE!!!!! Ahhhhh omg I cannot stand the cuteness 😍😍😍 There was this really small baby, one with a lot of hair, and long(tall) ones HAHAHHA

DINNER TIME CAUSE I WAS HUNGRY. Even though I ate noodles like 4h ago only but anything for cheap western food ❤️ Had Holland Fish which had cheese, ham and pineapples, but I really hated the fish :((( it wasn't dory fish at all and I wasn't only a tad disappointed, I WAS TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. But whatever, the jumbo longan ice made my dinner better ❤️

Olliee in Penang // Day 4 // Dim Sum // Food, Food, Eat, Food // Pasar Malam

OMG it's already day 4😢
Time's passing too quickly, really. Today wasn't that interesting actually, and the only thing I remembered doing today is EAT, EAT, AND EAT.

Went for Dim Sum in the morning, but I felt that it wasn't as good as last time :(( The Siew Mai was hard, the egg tart was weird, the char siew pao had too much 'pao' and too little 'char siew', and the only food I actually loved was the Chee Cheong Fun ❤️ (naturally) Actually there's another dim sum place in Penang which has really cheap and even better dimsum, but we forgot the way so oh well 💁 ANOTHER THING IS, dimsum in Penang is REALLY CHEAP. What I mean is in terms of conversion to SGD though LOL.

And then we bought takeaway for lunch to eat back at my aunt's house. OH and do you know 1SGD this afternoon was 2.63RM?? WOW OMG. The inflation (or the exchange).
Had Penang's SUPER FAMOUS CHENDOL, SUPER FAMOUS ASSAM LAKSA, and SUPER FAMOUS LOR MEE. HAHA I'm not even kidding!! All of these were sold at potay (aka town in Hokkien iirc) near to each other so we just bought everything. The queue was MAJORLY long though ._. HAHAHAH but good food requires waiting!! 😉 I even have this theory that because customers wait in the queue for so long, they actually get hungrier, so they find the food much more better tasting.

We also went to a warehouse kind of shop which sells wholesale items, and that's where I usually get my flavoured pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and other cheap snacks.😉 The people there are really nice, and the auntie even gave me 2 lollipops 🍭🍭 (yes I can be bribed easily by food). Previously in September she also gave me this 'food pack' and told me it was for children's day!!! ❤️ Still living as a child, but that made my day!!









Zoom zoom zoom again, and the next thing I knew, we were going to eat dinner opposite my ahma's house. The ZICHAR (something like course meal??) there is just awesome. Every year we would definitely go there to eat when we come Penang, and we order quite similar stuff! But it feels really empty just having 7 of us eating together. Usually when we eat there'll be >10 people eating together and it's really noisy and fun ☺️ But since my cousins' running a business they aren't that free anymore :(((( oh well!!!

There's this Pasar Malam there every Friday night which I LOVE going to, and I bought quite a lot of stuff there 😉
