MERRY CHRISTMAS!! <3

:> tehee it's finally christmas! Didn't really feel the mood initially but these few days have been amazing; basking in the christmas mood, going for christmas shopping, going out with people etc. I'm sure all of you are also doing that too! :>

Looking back at 2015, I guess it's been full of ups and downs. There are times when I was really really down, but there are also times when I enjoyed myself so much! It has been extraordinary, especially after leaving JC and entering university. Getting my grades, still being ever so uncertain on my future path, doing everything spontaneously, working, entering university... Everything made this year so special :>

Y'ALL plz don't forget me when y'all have boyfriends k :< Spending Christmas eve eve and eve with you guys was amazingggg <3 We even finally have a sleepover together!!! (although we r 5ever missing Nhu :<) Gardens by the Bay was beautiful but crowd was horrible but y'all made everything hilarious and fun!!! Nevertheless, thanks for being my overly attached BBB where we met nearly everyday during the break before uni during one period of time :> Though I can be mean sometimes but I can never get enough of you guys and I rly love how we all just bare our souls to each other and just judge openly <3 Although we are mostly in different schools, I'm so so glad we still got to meet up and Es is even back in Singapore! (and Qi out of Pulau NTU) And everyone else in NUS we have been meeting constantly nearly everyday to study during the exams period :> vvvvv fortunate to have y'all by my side in everything <3

It's really weird how we got so close together doing all the stupid shits together and having each other's back and working together :> Y'all have been an awesome bunch, and although we are all in different schools ever since ANDSS but I'm so glad we are still as close as ever :> We don't meet much cause our timings always clash but we are still able to be so comfortable and talk cock with each other all the time <3

HI DARLINGS we rly need to stop have clashing timings :< y'all were one of my closest JC friends and being able to just say what's on our minds without thinking and although all of you are rly popz now I rly rly rly miss y'all :< miss the times when we could see each other so often in school and when we went for runs!! (plz go for a run together again!) Being able to just post random rants in the chat group and not afraid of being judged, backing each other up for anything and everything, supporting each other, giving each other advice made our friendship even stronger ;> This was a really weird group combination at the start initially for JAE kids in the og but I'm so glad we have became so much closer and for that thank you <3

Although we met each other only during camp this year but we are all still able to be so comfortable with each other :> Thanks for making my uni life so much more fun and interesting with all the tap ins and tap outs from mon-fri and knowing all your stupid timetables when I should be memorizing my books instead and also just talking cock and asking the weirdest questions on earth (seriously). Especially even though I don't meet some of you often during school, we are still able to talk as much whenever we see each other!! <3 And thanks for studying together during the exams period in starbucks and being so patient with my questions and being aunties/uncles choping seats in Starbucks ;> Maybe we might have different timetables next sem but plz don't forget me and spend time tgt too k!!! vvvvvvv lucky to have yall <3

Road trip: KL - Cameron Highlands - Kuantan Part 1

So, on a random after-study-supper session, Tai asked "Anyone wanna go on a road trip to
Malaysia?" Zitt and I were really spontaneous, so we tagged along with NUS motoring club's road trip to Malaysia :>

DAY 1
Kuala Lumpur
Blastacars

Our first destination was KL. It took us about 5-6h to reach KL, including rest stops along the way. The first thing we went for was Blastacars. It's a place where we got to do driftkarting which was rly fun :> I've added think link of the website so you can check it out!:> The price ranges from 50RM-100RM, depending on the level you are playing, and whether you come in a huge group or not. So preferably come together with your friends to be able to enjoy the group discounts! :> The area was quite inaccessible, especially when we took the wrong road in and went to the muddy terrain. There was actually another road that was paved LOL.

The level we got was Intermediate, for 60RM. The truth is, the levels are the speed of the car, and it is set using a button on their remote. I really don't think it's worth it to pay so much for their advance speed :<

We had to watch a safety video in a small room before being able to drive.


And IT. WAS. RLY. FUN!!!

Although the circuit was quite small, it's really really really exciting to keep trying to drift, and failing, and trying again. I even crashed into the sides of the circuit LOL but luckily they are filled with tyres :> Personally, I felt that I can't ride this twice or else the thrill would be gone. And it's quite expensive even after conversion!

Headed to a car mechanic to get the cars checked for a while before going to our hotel to check in and dump our bags there :>

I didn't know we were going to be staying in a 4 star hotel and I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED :> hehehe the rooms were HUGEEE and we got an extra bed since there were only 2 beds in the room.

Dinner was at a restaurant serving pork knuckles and zi char which was awesome <3 I really didn't know what was pork knuckles until it actually came ._. HAHAHA oopsies! But it was really delicious :> Since we went there around 8 plus, we were the last few customers there cause it was closing alr (can't believe it was closing?!?!) OK maybe cause we ate damn slowly lol.

The trip started off with a few problems but day 1 was amazing and I was excited for the upcoming days :>

Cameron Highlands

The view from our room was AMAZING

Breakfast in the hotel was A W E S O M E???
The buffet was served really well with many different kinds of dishes, and they even have the special kinds of cheese, pastries, cooked eggs, american breakfast, yoghurt... We were totally spoilt for choice and ate a really filling breakfast before hitting the road to Cameron Highlands.

Everyone was late so we left the hotel at around 12pm. I really have no idea why but the road to Cameron Highlands was loooooonnnnngggg after taking so many breaks in between ._. We reached Cameron Highlands at around 8pm and we were all starving. The road up the hill was really exciting and thrilling at the same time cause it was just a one lane road with no lights at all, and there were many blind turns with no safety mirrors for us to look out for and it was daaaarrrrkkkk -.-

Dinner was delicious but maybe cause everyone was starving but lets just say it was good :> (zi char again)

Our hotel was a short distance away from the 'main area' where the night market is at, and it seemed really new as the carpark was still being renovated.

Really love times in the room when you can just chill and talk cock and just do stupid stuff like trying to dry your hair using 2 towels which doesn't work at all.

New hair colour: Purple!

Finally back to write a short post on my recently dyed hair. I went to Penang to dye this at True Hair Salon for about 180-200RM, and I'm really happy about the results :> So I'll just talk abit about my experience dying a new colour!

I had ombre brown hair before, and I decided to change it to another interesting colour, since I can chop off my hair anytime I want LOL. Initially, I wanted blue ombre, but since the salon doesn't have blue, I made do with purple :>

It took me a total of 10h (7h+3h) in the salon and my butt hurt like crazy sitting on the chair for so long :< So it's best to bring a book along cause you can't possibly use the phone for 7h straight (maybe you can HAHA)

ANYWAY, this was the end result!

Sitting for >7h straight was TIRING. but I guess it was well worth it :>

Was rly hungry cause I hadn't had food since 9am (it was alr 4pm) so my mom went to buy Mcnuggets for me :> tehee didn't wanna eat unhealthy food but wtv la hungry > everything else.

I also finished the book below, as you can see; it's "Mummy told me not to tell" by Cathy Glass. It's a really good read :> The story was really touching as to how Cathy (under a pseudonym) talked about her experience as a foster carer and took care of Reece, a 7 year old boy who experienced abuse at home. She totally changed the life of Reece and his attitude towards everything around him, and changed his view of what is 'normal' in society. At the end of the book, I teared but since I was at the salon and it's weird to cry so I had to stop my tears HAHAH. 

Since I dyed my hair before (brown), they had to dye it back to black if not it'll be rly weird HAHA. 

This was the end product after another 3h on another day :> Previously, the colour was greyish-blue and it actually looked black from far so I went back to the salon to dye. They were really nice about it and even offered to dye my hair again for free :>

So I bleached again and changed it to purple!

HAHAHAH and she was rly rly rly nice to curl my hair and even braided my fringe :> awwww <3 She's a rly sweet hairdresser :>

My experience there was amazing (albeit having chronic butt pain HAHA) but it's a process I need to go through so it's ok!

update: purple rly fades quickly now its a rly dull purple HAHAH and it's turning brown again! :<

Dk if can see anot but ya the colour is duller alr!!

Thinking of redying another colour, or maybe keep it purple first!! :> But that's gonna be for another time!!
