Time for D2 of Taiwan

Sleepy journey to Taichung on the HSR cause we all didn't sleep enough plus we were all quite tired :< Service was q bad imo cause it was slow? Although we had 6 people but they gave us a trainee which technically made us miss 2 HSR trains what the :<

HSR station

Lai Lai Dou Jiang

Got picked up by our driver at Taichung HSR and we headed to lailai soya bean for dou jiang! (they call dou hua shui (soyabean drink) dou jiang in tw) Didnt't get to try the salty flavoured one sobz but I actually like the burnt taste of the dou jiang! YUMZ. Ordered alot of food to share too to MAXIMISE our tasting :>

Lavander Cottage
Drove over to Lavender Cottage after which was CRAZY FAR actually. It took about an hour's ride all the way to the hill? It's in a really secluded place so it's mandatory to get a driver to drive you inside as apparently there was no buses which enters the place. There were also many bends on the hill road so it was q dangerous but really interesting. 

Lavender Cottage entrance fee: 100TWD

BUT 100TWD voucher given to you to buy stuff from the cottage's gift shop.

Saw this rly huge carousel and we had to take a photo with it

Chun Shui Tang

Headed back to civilisation (HAHA) and went to chun shui tang. This was where bubble tea was first created (apparently). 

Milk bun which was so-so

Their large milk tea was HUGEEEE and the pearls were really nice (albeit unhealthy)

Miyahara

Then we continued on to Miyahara which sells desserts and ice cream!

Ordered the grape ice which got q gelat after a while cause it was huge, and the grapes had seeds in them (sobz) :< and the grapes they used had this different feeling to it so I actually didn't rly like it

Got another ice cream after after much consideration but NO RAGRETS.

Yi Fu Tang
Went on to Yi Fu Tang to buy their tai yang bing and huang li su :> rly liked it as they had a few flavours but original is still the best!

Feng Jia Night Market

We were in a huge rush after that as we only had 45 min to conquer Feng Jia Night Market, so we actually split up and walked along the night market. Whatever we wanted to eat we just ordered it for takeaway asap so that we could eat on the HSR back to taipei.

Rushed back to HSR in time!!

Advice is not to spend only 45 min in fengjia because there were TONS OF STUFF TO LOOK AT and rly loads and loads of food HAHA.

We looked crazy eating on the HSR cause we were all so so hungry HAHAHA BUT FOOD WAS RLY GUD SO NO COMPLAINTS :>
